What are Pores?
A person’s pores may be more or less noticeable depending on their age and skin type. Pores are tiny channels in the skin which releases the body’s natural sebum as well as sweat. Over production of sebum results in pores that appear enlarged. Dehydrated skin and skin that had lost its elasticity with age also has enlarged pores.
It is not possible to get rid of large pores, but there are treatments to reduce their appearance.
Ways to reduce the size of pores
Having a good complexion also signifies youthfulness, and we have Rejuran fillers for that. Rejuran is a type of skin booster treatment that teaches our aging skin cells to behave in a youthful manner. Its main function is to renew and rejuvenate the skin by increasing cellular turnover using its proprietary salmon DNA.
It helps to repair skin, improve skin barrier, scars and acne marks, reduces pore size, skin texture, tone, elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, redness, pigmentation and so much more. It increases cellular turnover and renewal, allowing skin to become more balanced and hydrated from within.
Caution: Rejuran has been reported to react with cross linked HA fillers, causing hard nodule / lump formation. Do not have Rejuran if you have crossed linked HA fillers within a year.
Carbon Laser uses a fine carbon powder which is applied to the skin allowing it to penetrate into the pores and a surfacing laser is passed several times over the skin. The laser gently heats up the carbon powder which then tightens the pores from within, resulting in a clearer, smoother complexion and radiant glow.
Skinboosters boost the skin’s elasticity and you will notice a reduction of skin roughness. This hyaluronic acid filler is administered using a cannula and at one entry point only, with a safe distance to make it more comfortable for you and to ensure no bruising.
Hydrafacial and Basic Facials help to clear closed and open comedones (whiteheads and blackheads) and prevents further acne breakouts from occurring. We employ a 4-step approach to better skin through cleansing, exfoliation, multi-masking, and deep hydration. Not only will your skin look refreshed you will also benefit from the pampering experience.
Chemical Peels have often been misunderstood because of its name. Compared to physical exfoliation from products like facial scrubs, doing a chemical peel treatment is actually a safer and more optimal way to achieve better results.
Refresh Peel works to give radiance to the skin through gentle chemical exfoliation and does not irritate the skin or leave rashes and marks. Compared to traditional chemical peels, Refresh Peel is ahead of its game in the industry, as it has become one of the more sought-after non-surgical and non-invasive treatment that works gently yet effectively without compromising on its performance.
Carbon Laser and Hydrafacial alternating every 2 weeks (non invasive) is recommended. For minimally invasive treatments like Rejuran and Skinboosters, they give more long lasting results.
